Good morning/ evening/ afternoon, and welcome ladies and gentlemen to this Jerry Vile blog post. We do hope you are seated comfortably, now do we have some fantastic news for you!
Rehearsals have commenced for our Spring 2019 performance, 'The Jerry Vile Show', a parody sketch show, based on those morning TV, reality style chat shows we have all come to know and love (or hate). Sketches have been written by Lisbeth Tull, Joanna Whiting and Suzanne Blackmore, and Joanna Whiting will be directing us. We have 3 new members joining us for this show, and they have all made a fabulous start, we are so pleased to have them join our Bluefire family.
Jerry is your host, she is an obnoxious, narcissist, with a sex addiction, struggling to retain crew as she works her way through their husbands. We arrive, on a gloomy weekday morning, that very quickly becomes the beginning of the end for Jerry and many of her guests.
On the subject of guests, Jerry will bring you everything from your classic council estate, low budget, Lynx Africa scented, promiscuous boyfriend, to your friendly neighbourhood creepy clown, to a man who lost his lover to an app, and of course, the cake loving Marie Antoinette, with a little Lady Gaga thrown in for good measure.
As this is a 'live tv show' (sort of), it will feature all of your favourite commercial advertisements, filmed by us, in our own unique style... So if anyone has a launderette we can borrow, we'd be most grateful!
